Sea/Tac Area Pro Dancers
Mission Statement 4-15-23:
Our mission is to uplift and support the professional dancers of the region through cooperation, communication, and education to further the dance art while honoring the communities and cultures from which the dances come from.
Core Values and Code of Ethics
EDUCATION
Instructors will accept responsibility for teaching their dancers moving into the professional industry regarding professionalism, such as standard pricing and conduct.
INTEGRITY
Dancers will not bargain for less than the industry standard (undercutting) for a performance. Exposure or solely tips is not considered proper currency for professional performances.
Dancers will go through proper channels to be included in the rotation for restaurant/club opportunities.
Schedulers/Producers will conduct themselves with integrity and strive to provide equitable and non biased opportunities while working with venues
If a dancer is unsure of who to ask at the venue, they will reach out to the group to verify the proper channel.
SUPPORT
Dancers are committed to assist each other and to support the growth and sustainability for current and future dancers.
